    I pulled some amazing tail out of this club opening night, back in the day of course, damn makes me feel old, and i’m not even in my 30′s yet! Mongers unite!!!!

    Dude, if you’re not even 30 yet, you are still an INFANT when you’re in AC, haha. I’m 29 myself, and I didn’t notice feeling much different last trip in November than I felt when I was 21 there on my cherry trip.

    It only made me feel old in the sense that, on looking back on my mongering career, i was like – Damn – I’ve been doing this awhile, I guess I would consider myself a Veteran Monger, I’ve been doing this long enough to see grand opening’s and closing’s of bars in many different countries. And I’m 29 years of age also Jimmy, and every time I touch down in Manila I feel like a kid in a toy store, just can’t wait to get my hands on all the new, young toys. Haha, 29 days and counting till I touchdown again.

    Ha, yeah, I know what you mean. Wow, we’re actually around the same exact age. When was your first trip to AC? Mine was May 2002. But yeah, I know what you mean about now feeling a little “old” as a monger after doing it for 8 years. I lived in Korea for most of that time, which made making frequent trips to AC very easy.

    I think I’ve been there about 53 times in all. It’s funny when I talk to guys 2x older than me who are just now discovering the place and asking advice from little ol’ me, lol. After this many years and this many trips, I’m finally realizing that it’s not a “track meet”, but a marathon. I used to try to bang as many chicks as I could each trip, but now it’s more about the quality of the girls I select and the quality of fun and good times I have with the friends I am there with.

    I first trip was in 2002 also, was in Korea when i made my first trip out there. I think I’ve bumped into down by Osan one time, curfew was in effect and we were in the same elevator, we started a conversation, and we ended up talking about AC, i had just gotten back from there, and you had just gotten back a few weeks earlier, I swear it was you, i recognize ur voice from Trike Patrol, you’re the only guy I know who’s been to AC more times then me, and is still in his 20′s. Next month will be my 23 trip, I think, too many to count really. I was the same way on about my first 15 trips, always trying to beat my score from the previous trip, but I’ve mellowed out, and it’s all about quality dude, you can fuck 10 one’s, or one 10, nahmean? Haha, we’re really alike, should get together some time in AC and wreak some havoc.

    Damn, Osan too? We’ve really walked in the same footpaths over the last 8 years. Interesting. Yeah, “an elevator in a Osan hotel just before curfew”, haha….that sounds like me. Really interesting—-we’ve seen almost the same exact changes in AC from 2002 til now. I still kinda miss “the old AC” from then. The dirty, dusty, pot-hole filled streets, no SM mall, Santos Street was still scary looking w/ bars on both sides, no big glitzy mega-clubs (Blue Nile was the biggest), and prices were still dirt-cheap. Oh well, change happens, can’t stop it.

    Reason I was able to go so many times is because I would shoot down there on EVERY four-day weekend that we got in Korea. If you knew how to swing it, you could manage it. Plus I spent all 30 days of my leave (and then some) each year there also. Good times….good times. When is your next trip?

    I was in Korea from 02-03, made about 4-5 trips out to Phils, Makati, Cebu, and of Course AC. Then went to Japan until 06, then back to Korea 07-08. Those 5 years is when I did the most of my “damage”, I can’t count how many trips I made out to the “Grown Man’s Playground”, or how many times the military paid me to go out there, and Thailand, India, China, Singapore, and Malaysia. Untold count of how many LBFM’s I’ve smashed. But all in all, AC is still my favorite, it’s just a different vibe down there in the old dust bowl, it’s not as “business-like, bang for buck”. And, yes I remember when it was literally a freakin’ dust bowl, no sidewalk’s, half as many bars as there are now, Santos was indeed scary, but good for a “morning top off”, haha. Peso to dollar was incredible, I think i remember it being in the 60′s at one point, not like now, low 40′s, but still a good deal, hell, a night on the town with companionship is cheaper than a tank of gas. My last trip was (sigh) 2 years ago, over Christmas/New Years of 2008, the Atlantis was still under construction and so many new, really expensive hotels started popping up everywhere, I remember when the best hotel was the Orchid, i usually stayed at Central Park, now it’s always the Pacific Breeze. I remember back when there really wasn’t any pick up from the airport, always “ride-the-bus”, cheap, but a freakin sweat box, before they got some buses with AC. I remember stepping of the bus into AC and I swear you could just smell the pussy in the air, made my skin tingle. And, now as a veteran monger, I know all the little tricks the girls try to play, how to spot a “runner” from the door. Get in good with the owners and mamasan’s and bartenders and you’ll have one hell of a trip.

    It is a shame so many people don’t know of this little oasis, but that means that there’s more for me!!! But on the other hand, every time I go there, I’m the youngest guy i see everywhere I look, being young, handsome, and physically fit gives me an unfair advantage, feel’s like a rock star when i walk in most of the clubs, still makes me smile after so many trips. I’m rambling. Happy mongering.

    Seriously, we’ve been in the same places over the same exact periods of time. You even say the same shit I say. I swear, I’ve said, “a night in AC is cheaper than a tank of gas back home” countless times to guys when telling them about the place. It’s almost scary. I’ve felt exactly what you’ve described when you say how you “could just smell the pussy in the air, and it makes your skin tingle”. Damn, that’s AC.

    I remember the peso rate being spectacular back then. It was good in ’02, but I remember it best in like ’04/’05…..a barfine came out to like $17 bucks. Crazy. I remember when the Orchid was the best hotel in town also.

    Man, 2 years? Wow. It has REALLY changed a lot in 2 years man. I’d say more than it had changed in the 5 years before that. LOADS of new hotels and clubs in the past 2 years. Before, it was either Orchid, CentralPark, Pac Breeze, Amsterdam or a few others—now there’s many good (and cheaper than those) options.

    If Atlantis was still under construction you’re last trip, there are a shitload of newer clubs than Atlantis even. Club Asia and Golden Nile are two of the big ones, but many small-to-med size new ones too. And Prices have really changed in the past 2 yrs also.

    In November, I was surprised at how fast the pesos were going out of my wallet….it was also my first trip back in about 16 months. It was still a fun time, and I still love the place…..but the winds of change were omnipresent.

    Well then we’re either clones, lost brothers, or some type of weird kindred spirits, lol! I know things have changed alot in the past couple of years, I’ve been a member of your website since 05 I think, end of 05 early 06, something like that, back when u would only update your site monthly, and the server issues and some legal shit if i remember right. I check this site almost daily to see if theres anything new in AC. What did u mean by price changes? Drinks, barfines, that type of shit?
