Breakfast now available at Tequila Reef Cantina
May 26th, 2010
It’s hard to find good breakfast in Angeles sometimes. It’s always hit or miss wherever you go. That being said, here’s another place to try. Tequila Reef Cantina now offers a breakfast menu available anytime—day or night. They now open at 9am for those who manage to wake up that early.

Some of the best places for good inexpensive breakfasts are :-
Rosalina’s on McArthur Highway
VFW
American Legion (2 Posts in A.C.)
and the AC RUMPA

Ahh yes, the breakfasts at the VFW are very good. Probably the best breakfast I’ve had in AC. I’m just usually to hungover and lazy to go all the way down there when I wake up, haha. I never tried the RUMPA or American Legion.

Too true J, I also like to get the pandesol from the vendor, washed down with black Baguio coffee….. aaahhh!!!!

Oh yeah, I love Pandesols. I can eat like 10 of ‘em at a time. What is Baguio Coffee? I’ve never been to Baguio and I don’t think I’ve ever had Baguio Coffee. Anything is better than those NesCafe 3-in-1 power mixes. Well, anything besides SanMig Coffee……yuck

There are two kinds of coffee bean you can buy in the market in Baguio. From what I understand is one is from Batangas, the other local Benguet Arabica is my favourite. They sell it by measure – like 1 pint, raw or roasted, and they will grind it for you if you like.
Used to do a weekly vegetable run from Angeles to Baguio. You can get a fresh brewed ‘Baraco’ coffee in the market.
You can combine some night fun by staying in one of the beach resorts in Bauang, and getting some night activity in the clubs there. Air-conditioned buses run up to Baguio (about 1 hour run), or it is an easy 30 minutes + car ride.

Hmmm, I’ll have to look out for that next time.
