Starting this Saturday Night, King of Diamonds Bar will introduce “Saturday Night Poke-Her Night”  from 6:00pm until 12 midnight.

Here’s how it works:   You buy a ladies drink and then draw a card from the deck which will be handled by your waitress.  Then, your waitress will draw a card as well.  If your card is higher than the waitresses you get to pick a prize!  However, if the waitresses card is higher than yours, well, as they say, you get “fuck all”, try again!

Now here’s where it gets interesting:  If you draw the “King of Diamonds”, you get up to p500 off your bill!  If your waitress draws the “King of Diamonds”, you buy her a Ladies Drink (single)!

There’s a 1 in 52 chance of that so you guys are bound by the “luck of the draw” I guess would be the best way to put it.   So get out to KOD and try your luck and have some competitive fun as well!
They will run this every Saturday Night indefinitely and see how it goes.  Customer/staff interaction is always a good time!

Here is yet another party option for Valentine’s Day;  a “Lingerie & Balloon Party” at Treasure Island Bar.  Personally, TI is one of my all-time favorite bars in AC, so I know I would be there if I was in town on the 14th.

From 7:00 p.m. until midnight, you will get to *pop* a balloon every time you purchase a Ladies Drink.  Each balloon will have a different prize inside of it.  Every other drink is another FREE prize.  You will also be able to enjoy Happy Hour prices for the duration of the party.  The night will also feature Special “Love Potion # 9″ Shooters going ‘round.

Treasure Island Valentine’s Day Party

Skytrax Disco has long been a place of controversy among regular ACgoers.  It always stuck out from the rest of the clubs and bars on Fields because it was primarily a Filipino hangout.  Lots of young wannabe “thug” types local kids, loud blaring hip-hop music, and regular knife-wielding, bottle-smashing brawls that would make most UFC matches look tame.

Plenty of foreigners have found themselves getting into trouble there over the years, but there are still plenty that like going in.  Many of the bargirls will go there after shift or on their nights off.  Whether it be to drink and dance with friends, or to hook up with one of the local critters (as if they didn’t have enough sex already at work), you will always see and hear about bargirls hanging out there.

I personally have never set foot inside the place; at least not that I can remember anyway.  There have been many long drunken nights in AC for which entire blocks of time are unaccounted for in my memory.  I’ve always just heeded the warnings and considered it “their territory”.  I was just fine enjoying the other 100 bars, thank you very much.

Nevertheless, plenty of guys I know love the place and say it’s great for taking your barfines to for late-night partying, or even going stag and having the possibility of scoring some “strange”.  Off-duty bargirls + alcohol + dancing = many possibilities.

But therein lies one of the risks:  The local hoods have to see foreigners parading around everywhere with their women in AC all of the time.  So one could appreciate how they may like having at least some places where foreigners aren’t waving their pesos around like the Pied Piper of Hamlin.  Mix that jealousy and bitterness factor in with alcohol, mob mentality and gangsta rap music and you have a recipe for trouble.

Despite all of that, the white guy in this video seems to be doing okay, (sunglasses indoors notwithstanding) and he films some pretty cute babes in the process.
