If you want to get out of AC for Valentine’s Day, then making the drive up to Subic is a great alternative.  Treasure Island Resort is hosting a GIANT POOL PARTY on Sunday, February 14^th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.   Admission is 850 pesos, all-u-can-eat, all-u-can-drink, 40+ girls in the pool, games & dance contests all afternoon.  Sounds like a good place to find a “date” for Valentine’s evening if you don’t already have one by then.

Then later after you’ve dried off, how about a big Barrio Barretto barhop starting at 7:00 p.m. in Rum Jungle?  For a 1,250 peso ticket, you’ll get FREE food, 1 customer drink plus 1 ladies drink in each bar along the way.  The stops will include Rum Jungle, Voodoo, Escape, Hot Lips, Wet Spot, Angelwitch and then ending up back at Rum Jungle.

I don’t know if it’s the shitty world economy, the bitching & moaning on the message boards, or enough customers simply voting with their feet, but the oft-maligned Blue Nile Group has finally felt the need to establish a “Happy Hour” for some reason.  I was never one to plan my barhops around which bars offered Happy Hours and when, but for you thrifty (read: kuripot, cheap charlie) mongers out there or guys living in AC on fixed incomes, this is good news.

As of now, all beer and local drinks are 50 pesos during Happy Hour.  They actually started it on January 25^th, so I’m a little late with this, but here are the new Blue Nile Group Happy Hours:

Here is yet another party option for Valentine’s Day;  a “Lingerie & Balloon Party” at Treasure Island Bar.  Personally, TI is one of my all-time favorite bars in AC, so I know I would be there if I was in town on the 14th.

From 7:00 p.m. until midnight, you will get to *pop* a balloon every time you purchase a Ladies Drink.  Each balloon will have a different prize inside of it.  Every other drink is another FREE prize.  You will also be able to enjoy Happy Hour prices for the duration of the party.  The night will also feature Special “Love Potion # 9″ Shooters going ‘round.

I told you a little about this new service last month.  Lewis Grand Hotel now has its Limo Service fully operational and available to guests and non-guests.  A Lincoln Town Car Stretch Limousine, complete with DVD player, LCD TV, Air-Con, Radio & CD player.  (mini-bar available upon request)

The Perimeter Bar Group is having weekly promo events at a different one of their bars each week.  “Monday Night Madness” is from 6pm to 8pm each Monday.  For a 500 peso entrance fee you get free local drinks, a meal, 100 peso ladies drinks, show-girls and prizes from the participating bars.

On Wednesdays, it’s “Midweek Bash” from 5pm to 8pm, with NO entrance fee, FREE finger food, 50 peso local drinks, 100 peso ladies drinks, shows and prizes.  Sounds like a good deal.  See the flyer below for scheduled party locations:

Shooterz Bar is holding a Valentine’s Party on Sunday, February 14^th, along with a Birthday Party for all the girls that have a birthday this month.  There will also be a Lingerie and Body Painting show starting at 7:00 p.m.  If you buy a Ladies Drink during the parties, you’ll receive a prize every time. (blowjob would be nicer, heh)  Sounds like a fun time to be had in Shooterz.

Reporting is a little sketchy, but it was posted on PIatNight.com that a possible police “raid” occurred at Honey-Ko’s Bar on Perimeter yesterday afternoon.  Now, the definition of a “raid” when speaking in terms of Angeles City Bars varies greatly.

It could have been something as simple as the cops doing routine ID checks on the bar employees.  As of the time of this post, there was still a sign on the outside of Honey-Ko’s that read “Temporarily Closed”.

These types of things happen all the time in AC, although not as often on Perimeter as they do on Fields.  It’s really just “business as usual” and I’m sure the  owner(s) will get it sorted out (read: pay out whatever amount of $$$ they need to)    Hope they do it soon too, because Honey-Ko’s is one of the better bars in town.  Really a must-stop for any Perimeter Road barhop.

Oh, its Valentine’s Day time in Angeles City again.  If you’re going to be there, make sure you’re ready for it.  As you know, Filipinas just love “romance” and “lovely-dovey” type stuff.  So no matter who you plan to be with—-honeyko, girlfriend, Fields bargirl, Santos girl, webcam girl—–whoever, you best have something special in mind.

The Lewis Grand Hotel is hosting a “Valentine’s Day Dinner Show”, from 6pm to 10pm, which will include “a romantic night of ballads, jazz and bossa nova”, performed by International Artist, direct from Las Vegas, Robert Cos.

The cost is 1000 pesos per head with the Buffet Dinner included.  Tickets go on sale today at The Lewis Grand, so go get some for you and your girlfriend, honeyko, barfine,  or shortime—–not necessarily in that order.

Every Sunday in February, Lollipop Bar is having “Lingerie Night” from 3pm to 12 midnight.  Aside from a bar-full of cheerful LBFM’s in sexy lingerie (which I love!), they will also have ladies drink specials and two customer drink specials every hour.  Curiously, the girl in their banner below is not wearing lingerie, but I’m sure they will be on Sundays.

Lollipop Bar has proudly announced that they are bringing Perimeter Road Pricing to Fields Avenue.  Every Tuesday in February, Lollipop is giving Perimeter Road fans an opportunity to enjoy Lollipop with the same prices that most Perimeter Bars charge for drinks, ladies drinks and “other services”.  Sounds like a pretty good reason to stop in Lollipop on Tuesdays this month, no?  It’s like going to Perimeter Road, but without the 150 peso trike ride, haha.

For you NFL fans who might be on vacation (or live in) Angeles next Monday morning, Club Atlantis will show Super Bowl 44 at 7:00 a.m.  If Atlantis is not your style, it will be also shown in Pony Tails and Crystal Palace.  I’ve been in AC during the Super Bowl before, and I have to tell you it’s not bad watching the game and having a few raven-haired, almond-eyed cuties serving your food & drinks.  Go Eagles!  Oh…uh…wait, nevermind.  Enjoy the game.

The “WOW Wednesday” parties are weekly occurrences in town, but I haven’t covered them much.  I’ll try a lil’ better to do so.  This week’s party is at Nero’s Forum from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Local drinks are 50 pesos, ladies drinks are 100, and it will be jam-packed with lovely young ladies in skimpy outfits.  They will also have finger food from Tequila Reef and various shows and raffle prizes.  Have a good time.

Since this is February, I thought it would be somewhat appropriate to make “Valentino’s” the Hotel of the Month, don’t you?  This is one of the newer hotels in town, and it looks pretty nice.  It’s located only about two blocks off of Fields Ave, which is nice if you want a little peace & quiet.

They have three types of rooms starting with the Deluxe at around $42, the Balcony around $60 and the Executive for about $68.  With 22 rooms, it’s not a huge hotel, so book early if trying for a room there.  For more info, visit our hotel page for Valentino’s, here.

Now, for the Club of the Month, I chose The One-Eyed Wench.  The main reason I chose it, besides it being new, was because I love the name.  Their website is still under construction, but the title proclaims, “The One-Eyed Wench: Cold Grog and Warm Wenches!” Haha, I love it.  It is located directly across from Kokomoz, nestled just beside Treasure Island, so you really can’t miss it.

I haven’t heard much about it yet on the boards, but I’m sure we will soon since its located right on Fields “Grand Central”.  If you happen to drop in before I do, shoot me an email and let me know how “warm” those “wenches” really are, will ya?
