Hotel & Club of the Month – February 2010
by jreg81 on Feb.02, 2010, under Front Page
February 2nd, 2010
Since this is February, I thought it would be somewhat appropriate to make “Valentino’s” the Hotel of the Month, don’t you? This is one of the newer hotels in town, and it looks pretty nice. It’s located only about two blocks off of Fields Ave, which is nice if you want a little peace & quiet.
They have three types of rooms starting with the Deluxe at around $42, the Balcony around $60 and the Executive for about $68. With 22 rooms, it’s not a huge hotel, so book early if trying for a room there. For more info, visit our hotel page for Valentino’s, here.
Now, for the Club of the Month, I chose The One-Eyed Wench. The main reason I chose it, besides it being new, was because I love the name. Their website is still under construction, but the title proclaims, “The One-Eyed Wench: Cold Grog and Warm Wenches!” Haha, I love it. It is located directly across from Kokomoz, nestled just beside Treasure Island, so you really can’t miss it.
I haven’t heard much about it yet on the boards, but I’m sure we will soon since its located right on Fields “Grand Central”. If you happen to drop in before I do, shoot me an email and let me know how “warm” those “wenches” really are, will ya?
Kokomoz Pool Party this Sunday @ 12noon
by jreg81 on Jan.21, 2010, under Front Page
January 21st, 2010
This Sunday, starting at 12 noon, Kokomoz will host another pool party with girls from 8 different bars in attendance. The entrance fee is 1000 pesos, and includes all-u-can-eat buffet and all-u-can-drink local drinks, music, fun and games with a pool full of wet girls. I like pool parties. Have I ever mentioned that?
And Casi Cielo Bar wants you to know that their “Magnificent Seven” will be there as well:
Four-part Angeles City Video Trip Report

This was very well done. In this 4-part video, a guy documents the various highlights from his “cherry” trip to AC in August 2009. And not just the bars either. He includes scenes from the entire experience that makes a trip to AC what it is. From arriving into the airport at Clark, to riding in jeepneys & trikes, to the street scenes with kids running around, to checking into your hotel—–he covers it all very nicely. Oh yeah, and there’s plenty of scenes from the bars on Fields Ave. too, so don’t worry. It’s a really well-edited, high-quality video with fun music and sub-titles as well. In it, you’ll see familiar places like Kokomoz, DM Residente, Swiss Chalet, Carousel, Brown Sugar, Camelot and more. If you’re any kind of AC enthusiast, I know you’ll enjoy watching it as much as I did.

Casi Cielo Girls at Kokomoz Pool Party

January 10th, 2010
On January 3rd, the Casi Cielo Bar had a pool party at Kokomoz. I was told they had a “Dirty Dancing” contest in which Emma won first prize and 1000 pesos. (she is holding the basketball in the picture below) I’m not sure what that contest entailed exactly, but it definitely sounds good. I have stories from past Kokomoz pool parties that would make sailors blush. I have no doubt that the Casi Cielo girls put on a great show for everyone in attendance. Check out some of the pics by clicking here.
Night time on Fields Ave…

One of my favorite places to sit and watch the world go by is right here on the front porch at Kokomoz. Grab yourself some finger food and a cold beer and enjoy the view. I usually prefer between 4pm and 6pm since that’s when the majority of girls are walking to work, but anytime is good. Not a whole lot happens in this 1-minute clip, but you can hear some girls laughing and see the trikes whizzing by so it takes you back a little bit.   (courtesy Camman)
Kokomoz Pool Party yesterday? I missed it.

Apparently Kokomoz had a pool party this past Sunday. I didn’t even hear about it until now. It’s been a while since they’ve had one there I think, so this came as a nice surprise. Starting at 1pm and going until 6pm, they had “interactive games” with girls from 5 different bars there and NO ADMISSION FEE. That is a welcome change compared to past parties there. In case you completely missed it like I did, here are some video clips: (courtesy of VIPasia)
