I only have one muscle to exercise while I’m in AC, but for you meat-heads out there, another gym has just opened in town.  The Fitness Connection Gym is located on MacArthur Highway, almost across the street from Filipino Casino.

I read a few posts on the boards already that said it’s a very well designed place, lots of good equipment, a “protein shake bar” and some on-hand fitness instructors.   It is operated by a fellow who is a former “Mr. Britain”, so I guess he knows a little something about fitness.  If you check it out, let me know how it was;  I will be in my hotel room on my “Little Brown Fitness Machine”.   Here are the other details:

Here is yet another party option for Valentine’s Day;  a “Lingerie & Balloon Party” at Treasure Island Bar.  Personally, TI is one of my all-time favorite bars in AC, so I know I would be there if I was in town on the 14th.

From 7:00 p.m. until midnight, you will get to *pop* a balloon every time you purchase a Ladies Drink.  Each balloon will have a different prize inside of it.  Every other drink is another FREE prize.  You will also be able to enjoy Happy Hour prices for the duration of the party.  The night will also feature Special “Love Potion # 9″ Shooters going ‘round.

Since announcing each new girl has become standard procedure for Casi Cielo, they have given these occasions a new title.  They now refer to them as “Fresh off the Bus”, haha.  I must say, that is pretty cute, even if a little bit crude.  I like crude though, which is why I’m pointing it out.  Meet Nicole, 18 years old, from Samar…..and “FRESH OFF THE BUS!”

Reporting is a little sketchy, but it was posted on PIatNight.com that a possible police “raid” occurred at Honey-Ko’s Bar on Perimeter yesterday afternoon.  Now, the definition of a “raid” when speaking in terms of Angeles City Bars varies greatly.

It could have been something as simple as the cops doing routine ID checks on the bar employees.  As of the time of this post, there was still a sign on the outside of Honey-Ko’s that read “Temporarily Closed”.

These types of things happen all the time in AC, although not as often on Perimeter as they do on Fields.  It’s really just “business as usual” and I’m sure the  owner(s) will get it sorted out (read: pay out whatever amount of $$$ they need to)    Hope they do it soon too, because Honey-Ko’s is one of the better bars in town.  Really a must-stop for any Perimeter Road barhop.

Lollipop Bar has proudly announced that they are bringing Perimeter Road Pricing to Fields Avenue.  Every Tuesday in February, Lollipop is giving Perimeter Road fans an opportunity to enjoy Lollipop with the same prices that most Perimeter Bars charge for drinks, ladies drinks and “other services”.  Sounds like a pretty good reason to stop in Lollipop on Tuesdays this month, no?  It’s like going to Perimeter Road, but without the 150 peso trike ride, haha.

Since this is February, I thought it would be somewhat appropriate to make “Valentino’s” the Hotel of the Month, don’t you?  This is one of the newer hotels in town, and it looks pretty nice.  It’s located only about two blocks off of Fields Ave, which is nice if you want a little peace & quiet.

They have three types of rooms starting with the Deluxe at around $42, the Balcony around $60 and the Executive for about $68.  With 22 rooms, it’s not a huge hotel, so book early if trying for a room there.  For more info, visit our hotel page for Valentino’s, here.

Now, for the Club of the Month, I chose The One-Eyed Wench.  The main reason I chose it, besides it being new, was because I love the name.  Their website is still under construction, but the title proclaims, “The One-Eyed Wench: Cold Grog and Warm Wenches!” Haha, I love it.  It is located directly across from Kokomoz, nestled just beside Treasure Island, so you really can’t miss it.

I haven’t heard much about it yet on the boards, but I’m sure we will soon since its located right on Fields “Grand Central”.  If you happen to drop in before I do, shoot me an email and let me know how “warm” those “wenches” really are, will ya?

Club of the Month – The One-Eyed Wench

This is a tad late to post, but Shooterz Bar will have a Body Painting session tonight at 8pm.  I’m not sure if this will be a regular event each week or what, but it seems like every other club in Angeles is getting into the body painting thing.  Not saying its a bad thing, just maybe a little “played out” already.  Then again, who am I to complain about more bare skin?

For the first club feature of 2010, I chose Fantasy Club of the La Pasha Group.  It was born in May 2009 on the same lot as many before it, so it’s not really a “new” club per se.  That spot has changed names & owners so many times in recent years that I can’t even remember them all—–and I’ve followed AC pretty closely.  Seeing how it is owned by the La Pasha Group now, maybe Fantasy will fare better than its predecessors at that location (they seem to do pretty well with their bars).  The German’s are nothing if not efficient managers though, aren’t they?  It is located just a few doors up from Cambodia and Golden Nile on lower Fields.  You can find it easily on the Asian Escapades map.  Here is some of the basic bar info from Fantasy’s website:
