Whether you’re a PIatNight.com board member or not, everyone is welcome to join in on a PIatNight barhop on Tuesday, September 29th starting at 2pm.  The meeting place is Candy Bar up on Perimeter Road.  The intended itinerary after Candy Bar is Roadies, Lost-in-Asia and to finish up at the grand opening of Shooterz Bar down on lower Fields Ave.   This should be a fun event to join in on if you’re in town next week.  If you’re not already a board member, it’ll give you a chance to meet some fun-loving guys like yourself and see some of the newer partying establishments in AC.

All the cool kids will be there!

What exactly is a “runner”?

In case you don’t already know, a “runner” is a barfine who makes up excuses to leave early once you get back to the hotel room (or after one quick, mechanical boom-boom).  This is based on the unwritten premise that when you pay a the price of the barfine, the girl is supposed to stay with you all night.  While “runners” are the exception in AC and certainly not the rule, it has always been a problem that guys complain about on the message boards.  And yes, some girls may in fact have a legitimate reason for leaving a customer early (sudden illness, sick baby at home, customer is rude/smelly/abusive), but there is always a small percentage of girls who make it standard operating procedure unfortunately. Ok, it looks like VipAsia from Angeles2.com got in on the robotic-cartoon character movie-making action as well.   By the way, if you are bored like these guys were and want to make your own movies also, just visit Xtranormal.com.   I will take this oppurtunity to once again state how useful and invaluable the info you will learn from the Angeles City message boards is.  I swear, every time I get an email from newbies asking questions, I provide them with what answers I can, then direct them to the boards.

Although Angeles2 is now a pay-board (it used to be free) it’s only like $25 a year, so it’s pretty reasonable.  Trust me, the tips and info you’ll learn from experienced Angeles visitors and residents more than makes up for the money.   Angeles2 was the site that I stumbled upon before making my “cherry” trip to AC in May of 2002.  Take my word for it, if you join AC2, you’ll be much better prepared and well informed going into your first trip.   And once you join, you’ll more than likely continue to utilize it between trips to stay up to date on the local goings-on.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention PIatNight.com also.  Although not as old as AC2, PIatNight has been around for several years now and has become just as good as AC2 (if not better).   And, ontop of that, it’s FREE to join.  You have to be a member for a little while and start making posts before you can access some of the more “interesting” areas of the forum, but you’ll get there quickly once you join.  So to you newbies out there reading this and thinking about that first trip to Angeles, trust me when I say this:  JOIN THE MESSAGE BOARDS!
