If you don’t want to make the trip to Subic this weekend for the Dryden Group pool party at Treasure Island, don’t worry—–you have an alternative in Angeles.   Good ol’ Kokomoz is throwing a pool party on Sunday starting at 12 noon.

It’s p1,200 to get in, including all-u-can-eat buffet, local drinks, 2 ladies drinks and most importantly, girls from 8 different bars!  Lemme tell ya, I’ve had some wild times at many of these Kokomoz pool parties; they usually aren’t over until you see questionable looking substances floating past you in the water, haha.   No, they are not for the faint of heart.  Man up, Nancy!

Ok fellas, I’m giving you plenty of advance notice on this one.  I know these pool parties are some of Angeles City’s “premiere” events and a lot of you guys plan your entire vacations around attending them.

The “Doghouse Party Group”, longtime promoters of many regular parties and events in AC, is throwing it’s 15th Anniversary Party at the ABC Hotel Pool.

If you’ve never attended a pool party at the ABC Hotel Pool, then you haven’t even lived yet.  The extravagant decor and top-notch service surrounding you, not to mention the entire placed being packed-wall-to-wall with the town’s hottest girls, is not only a fire code violation, but just about the most awesome organized event any AC monger can ask for.

I will post more info on the event as it gets closer, but all you need to know now is July 3rd at ABC Hotel.  Ok, there are some more details on the banner below if you’re a worry-wart:

Lewis Grand Hotel wants you to know that the event being held at their pool this weekend is simply a “friendly swim amongst friends” and NOT one of those wild, obscene “Pool Parties”.

They will have BBQ and booze available, along with several “friends” from Forbidden City and Dirty Duck.  But remember, this is just a “fun” day amongst like-minded, fun-loving people and there will be NO nudity or anything remotely unchaste.

So if you’re up for a “fun” yet virtuous day in the sun at LGH’s lovely garden pool area, with food, drinks and “local entertainment”, then swing by this Saturday afternoon.    Here’s to reading between the lines!

Yes, I said it.  One of the most frequently asked questions I get via email and chat is “Hey Jimmy, when and where is the next big pool party?”

Well, here’s your answer:

On Sunday, May 30th, The Dryden Group is throwing a pool party at Treasure Island Resort in Subic.  The party starts at 12 noon and will include more than 50 girls from Wet Spot, Angelwitch, Rum Jungle & Lips Bars.  There will be food, drink, music, dancing, games, photo-taking and more.

Included in the cost of admission will be all-u-can-eat buffet, all-u-can-drink local drinks, and Happy Hour pricing in all Dryden Group Bars all night.  Tickets are available to be purchased at any of the Dryden Group establishments.

Here it is.  Tomorrow at Kokomoz, from noon ‘til midnight, it’s the Grand Opening of the NEW Casi Cielo’s at Kokomoz.   That’s twelve hours of partying guys.  From the on-the-ground reports I’m getting, they’ve done quite a bit of decorating in the Kokomoz pool area for it.

With all of these cute new CC girls “fresh off the bus”, it’s probably worth stopping by.  If you can’t make it, I’m sure I’ll have pics from the event up on here in a few days.  Check out this page for more info.

If you want to get out of AC for Valentine’s Day, then making the drive up to Subic is a great alternative.  Treasure Island Resort is hosting a GIANT POOL PARTY on Sunday, February 14^th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.   Admission is 850 pesos, all-u-can-eat, all-u-can-drink, 40+ girls in the pool, games & dance contests all afternoon.  Sounds like a good place to find a “date” for Valentine’s evening if you don’t already have one by then.

Then later after you’ve dried off, how about a big Barrio Barretto barhop starting at 7:00 p.m. in Rum Jungle?  For a 1,250 peso ticket, you’ll get FREE food, 1 customer drink plus 1 ladies drink in each bar along the way.  The stops will include Rum Jungle, Voodoo, Escape, Hot Lips, Wet Spot, Angelwitch and then ending up back at Rum Jungle.

On January 3^rd, the Casi Cielo Bar had a pool party at Kokomoz.  I was told they had a “Dirty Dancing” contest in which Emma won first prize and 1000 pesos.  (she is holding the basketball in the picture below)  I’m not sure what that contest entailed exactly, but it definitely sounds good.  I have stories from past Kokomoz pool parties that would make sailors blush.  I have no doubt that the Casi Cielo girls put on a great show for everyone in attendance.  Check out some of the pics by clicking here.

Treasure Island Resort in Subic will host its next giant pool party on Sunday, January 3rd, beginning at 12pm.  More than 50 Girls from Wet Spot, Angelwitch, Rum Jungle and Voodoo Floating Bar will be in attendance.  The entrance fee will be 800 pesos if paid in advance, and 1000 pesos if paid on the day of. (600 pesos for ladies)  There will be games and competitions that will include:

• BODY PAINTING
• POOL SIDE DANCE OFF
• DEEP DIVING
• GREASED MELON COMPETITION

Also included:

• All You Can Eat Buffet
• All You Can Drink (local drinks)
• Fun, Fun, Fun!!! (bring your camera!!!)

If you’re starting to notice the amount of Subic info you’re seeing here, get used to it. There will be a lot more to come in 2010. Subic is quickly growing into “the next place to be” for fun in the PI. As I alluded to in an earlier post, I might even create a new site dedicated totally to Subic.

If so, it would not be a bad choice.  I spent Thanksgiving in Subic and had a really great time.  I’ll elaborate more on my trip later.  First, let me get to the festive goings-on up there.  There are plenty of things happening this week in Barrio Barretto and Baloy Beach area for the holidays.  The party schedule goes like this:

24 Dec – Christmas Eve party at Wet Spot (The BEST bar in the World in this blogger’s opinion)

26 Dec – Staff Christmas Party in Angelwitch

28 Dec – 100 hour countdown to 2010 in Rum Jungle

3 Jan – HUGE pool party at Treasure Island Resort – 12noon to 4pm, 50+ girls, dance contest, fun and sunshine, tickets at 800 pesos, all-u-can-eat-and-drink.

Also, Dryden’s and Treasure Island Resort will also be doing a traditional Christmas meal on Friday, December 25^th starting at 12 noon.  I can personally tell you, that if it’s anything like the Thanksgiving Day meal last month, it will be delicious!

While AC still has 5x the amount of clubs, Subic is steadily closing the gap for best partying spot in the PI.  Maybe it’s about time I created an entirely separate blog dedicated entirely to Subic.  Ooops, did I just say that out loud?

Apparently Kokomoz had a pool party this past Sunday.  I didn’t even hear about it until now.  It’s been a while since they’ve had one there I think, so this came as a nice surprise.  Starting at 1pm and going until 6pm, they had “interactive games” with girls from 5 different bars there and NO ADMISSION FEE.  That is a welcome change compared to past parties there.  In case you completely missed it like I did, here are some video clips: (courtesy of VIPasia)

Boy oh boy, talk about a way to drive potential customers away.  I would have thought that a hotel this far off of the beaten path would be a little more hospitable and show greater desire to bring in new business.  It seems there were a multitude of problems at Candy Bar’s pool party there this past Sunday; eventually making them do an impromptu move over to the Lewis Grand Hotel, where everything went, well, grand once they got there. Here is a first-hand report from Mongering1 on AC2 (a guy I know personally so I can vouch for his credibility):

“Seems Sydney Hotel (wife of the owner) decided to recant all the promises they made for last Sunday’s pool party. Don’t quote me, but something like, was supposed to be free to the girls and half price food and drinks for them. Free pool for invited guests with a 10% discount.

Well it all changed big time. I was freeing Willy in the pool when all of sudden I was informed the party is going to be moved. Reason, they wanted to charge every girl P100 for pool use, give only 10% discount to the event, and nothing for the invited guests.

End result, party moved to Louis Grand and we were treated with open arms by some fat English dude. Girls got fed, no cover charge for anyone, and I even got a 10% discount on my food and drink. I counted around 30 willing particapants female wise, most from Candy Bar. Two old guys basically had them. I got tied up with some big boobed skinny girl…

Bottom line, Louis Grand saved the day, Syndey Hotel dropped the ball. Oh, and get this, Sydey Hotel does NOT allow two girls in the room!!! That is direct from the owner.

I’m not making this up!”

Wow, what a cluster-fuck, huh.  Unfortunately, that is a typical mindset there sometimes; that tunnel vision greediness that blinds them from seeing the big picture and why something might be good for them tomorrow if they can resist trying to scalp those few extra pesos from you today.  Good thing Lewis Grand saved the day.  And to think, I just had Sydney Hotel as “Hotel of the Month” for August until I read this.  (you will notice that it is changed now)
