There was a fire at Eager Beavers Club just off of Fields Ave next to Phillies Sports Bar. Reports are that there were no injuries thankfully. Here’s a video of the response:
Fields Ave Video (by day & night)

Ahhhh, the sound of Trikes honking and sputtering, music from the bars, the hustle and bustle of mongers on the way to their next conquest. All of that captured in this daytime/nighttime video of Fields Ave. Damn, those streets are busy, aren’t they? Although it appears this was done around the Chinese New Year so that could have something to do with it.
Coming Soon – Phillies Sports Bar and Restaurant
by jreg81 on Aug.21, 2010, under Front Page
August 21st, 2010
Yep, that’s right, another “sports bar” type place “having a go” at it in AC.
If anything, they have a great location to start with, constructing up their new place on the corner of Fields and Raymond where Sub-Delicious used to be. Hopefully they fare better than their predecessors, who, while starting off strong, really spiraled down quickly a few short years later.
The news is that “Shano” formerly of Shano’s Sports Pub on Santos Street (now the International) will be running the place. Phillies surely has the perfect location, but to set themselves apart from the rest, they’ll really need to stand out in terms of menu, service and overall satisfaction. The “sports bar” model hasn’t really made it in AC thus far. I think due in part to some confusion on the customer base’s part.
Tourists, on one hand, are there to barhop and screw their brains out. Expats, on the other hand, lean towards the good deals and best service (read: Perimeter & Santos). Who is there to sit in a bar and watch sports all the time? Not sure, but good luck to Phillies—they do bear the namesake of my home town and baseball team if nothing else.

The Morning After Send-Off…(video)

I usually don’t walk them out to the trike in the morning, but I think this guy did it just for the sake of sharing it on video. You know the routine: The morning comes, it’s time for your companion from last night to get back to wherever bargirls go after leaving their customers (bar stay-ins, family homes, husband or boyfriend’s place, mall, lunch date with expat, etc). You give her some extra pesos for the time you enjoyed together and send her on the way. Good-bye kisses are optional.
A walk around the block…(video)

May 9th, 2010
The video starts around the corner of Fields and Santos, by Rhapsody, and follows sukalamae22′s leisurely stroll past Gecko’s, Carousel, Atlantis, then around the block on Raymond and Real streets. Along the way, you’ll see and hear the glowing nightlife “buzz” of Angeles City in prime time. I’m usually pretty well incapacitated by this time of night, so it’s nice to get a clearer view of what it looks like, ha.
Funny how some girls don’t mind the camera, but others duck out of the way like they’re dodging a bullet with their name on it. Check out the girl at 04:11 in this vid, haha. I guess being inadvertently video-taped on Fields Ave while your Western Union sponsor thinks you’re back home “in da probince” is one of the risks you take trying to earn some extra pesos in AC, huh? What was it the old circus guy, P.T. Barnum, said? “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
R.I.P. Casi Cielo Bar?
by jreg81 on Feb.23, 2010, under Front Page
February 23rd, 2010
There really hasn’t been much new information about the Casi Cielo raid and closure last week. The story remains the same about what went down and not much is known about the location or disposition of the girls or the owners.
While it is not known to be fact, wide reporting from some of the locals have been along the same lines. Aside from Casi Cielo’s super-zealous online advertising campaign, the general consensus seems to be that they had employed a few girls of questionable age and/or without the proper IDs or licenses.
If that is true, then it’s inexcusable and they need to be held accountable. The law is the law, and it clearly states the age a girl must be to work in a bar.
However, if it is not true and this was just the result of some “personal beef” a former employee or wanker from the boards had with the owner, then it is a pity. If nothing else, Casi Cielo did live up to one of its self-proclaimed slogans during their short but exuberant existence: “Casi Cielo, the most talked about bar in town!”
NEWS FLASH – Casi Cielo Raided!
by jreg81 on Feb.19, 2010, under Front Page
February 18th, 2010
Reports are still coming in, but we now know that Casi Cielo Bar on Raymond Street was raided by what appears to have been the NBI. They pulled up in SUVs wearing plain clothes and carted off a bunch of the girls and a large stuffed teddy bear. It was also noted that the bar’s website is now DOWN, and all of the photos they posted on PIatNight.com have been removed.
I’m sure there is a lot more to this story, but early indication suggest it may have been an issue involving suspicion of under-aged girls being employed there and/or girls without all of the required papers and licenses. It is also getting closer to election time, so someone high up somewhere might be needing extra cash.
Another report from the “bamboo telegraph” suggested that this occurred due to a few former Casi Cielo employees wanting to make trouble for the bar.
That is all of the initial info I have for now, I’ll post more when get it.

Latest Arrival at Casi Cielo – Nicole
by jreg81 on Feb.08, 2010, under Front Page
February 8th, 2010
Since announcing each new girl has become standard procedure for Casi Cielo, they have given these occasions a new title. They now refer to them as “Fresh off the Bus”, haha. I must say, that is pretty cute, even if a little bit crude. I like crude though, which is why I’m pointing it out. Meet Nicole, 18 years old, from Samar…..and “FRESH OFF THE BUS!”

February 6th, 2010
Casi Cielo welcomes another warm young body to its ranks. Meet Beverly, just 18 years old from Cavite. She does not have any kids yet and has been said to offer “full service” to her patrons. See how you are, Beverly!
New arrival at Casi Cielo – Annabel – 19 years old
by jreg81 on Jan.26, 2010, under Front Page
January 26th, 2010
I can’t ever remember a bar who marketed so much that they gave us regular updates on their latest arrivals. But that’s exactly what Casi Cielo Bar does, and I applaud them for it. Meet Annabel, the latest addition to “the most talked about bar in AC”. She’s 19 years old, from Pangasinan and according to the bar spokesman, “…she is not afraid to get down and dirty for you—-despite her innocent looks!” If that doesn’t make you want to stop in for a visit, you probably have almost zero libido left (limpdick).
Kokomoz Pool Party this Sunday @ 12noon
by jreg81 on Jan.21, 2010, under Front Page
January 21st, 2010
This Sunday, starting at 12 noon, Kokomoz will host another pool party with girls from 8 different bars in attendance. The entrance fee is 1000 pesos, and includes all-u-can-eat buffet and all-u-can-drink local drinks, music, fun and games with a pool full of wet girls. I like pool parties. Have I ever mentioned that?
And Casi Cielo Bar wants you to know that their “Magnificent Seven” will be there as well:
