I forget that guy on PIatNight who challenged everybody to show pictures of beautiful girls out on Perimeter…Well let me tell you…found a few gems for sure.  We started at Lost in Asia.  Now for all you guys that are too lazy to get more than 400 yards of Kokomos…I strongly suggest you make the effort and go to Lost in Asia and here is why…First…this bar is PIatNight Central…you can get your membership card and meet the guys that run the place and any question you have they will gladly answer it.  Second…new girls that you haven’t seen yet and quite a few nice ones I must say.  Third…drink prices are great especially during happy hour.   Fourth…give business to bars that promote PIatnight.

Well guess what….Lost in Asia was packed…I had to take a seat by the pool table but we still had a good view.  Now I know with all the bullshit going on with raids…and no t-backs, no open air blow jobs at Nifty’s and everybody scared of the police…something strange happened and really I couldn’t believe my eyes.  A group of guys were there and before I knew it…a girl was doing things (think Thai Bars with their special shows or even Players or Kinkys in Subic)   I was like….WOWWWWWWW.  And I mean not for 5 or 10 minutes…more like over an hour.  I had to hide Sponge Bob in fear he was going to get hit with a dart or something…hahahaha.  Mainly it was bottle play if you know what I mean with some sexy carpet munching…right in the middle.   It was crazy nice and in that instant…it felt like old times and maybe the beginning of coming out of this scariness everybody has.  I wanted to snap a few pictures but it wasn’t my show but I could tell the guys were having too much fun.  Heart Attack Willie showed up to see all the fun…almost Twilight Zone material…

Ping Pong balls and that big orange were flying and we were doing our share keeping the girls happy.  I bought a few drinks for Shilinda and I swear I could touch that soft skin for hours.   The boys sent us a drink and “Thank You” for that.  Sorry I did not make the 3 o’clock barhop today.

Next bar was Roadies and it was quiet until we got there.   My girl was there so we had a nice time with everybody.  Mitch the crazy one was really having a good time and the whole place was just crazy laughter.

We then went into After School and Bammmmm….super hottie alert…and I mean hott…what a body…bought her a drink and had a nice time.   JustJump found a super hott girl too.  A few Asian guys in the booths in back but pretty quiet I must say.   Will be back for that girl…

Next Bar was Happy Rock but they were closing as we pulled up…super long drama girl was already gone so that was okay. Stopped into Midnight Rock and pretty slow…Justjump made the girls happy with his classic niceness of pingpong balls.

18again texted me and said he was at Lollipop so we decided to go meet him.  Again Lollipop was slammed and had the raffle thing with free food.  Very nice I must say…I saw Irongate in there and he seemed to be enjoying himself…nice seeing you by the way…

Gave out some gifts to the girls and just had a great time…18again took off with some sweethearts and justjump took off.  It was time to go…as I was leaving, Billy came in and invited me to One Eyed Wench but I was pretty much done drinking…went to a regulars and crashed…

Details are still coming in, but there were several “raids” on a few Fields Avenue bars tonight.   So far it sounds like Dirty Duck and Forbidden City (same ownership group, do the math there) were raided.  Scene was described as a “tour bus full” of NBI type guys and guys in military gear.   Never understood why they needed to “raid” bars in such a dramatic fashion wearing combat attire and wielding assault rifles.  I guess it makes them feel safer going up against 19 to 24 year old girls in bikini’s and 45 to 65 year old foreigner expats or tourists in flip-flops.   What a fucking joke.

It’s unclear yet just how many bars were actually “raided” and how many simply “closed early”, but others reported seeing several more on the strip closed shortly afterwords.  Camelot, Blue Nile, Bed Rock to name a few.  It was also said that a well-known AC regular was apprehended for reasons unknown.  Maybe someone in the NBI needs Christmas gift money already?  Ain’t it just a tad early?  Even for the Philippines).

We’ll see what happens in the next few days I guess.  Nothing really new here in the grand scheme of things.

Here’s a video from the “Freaky Fiesta Friday” at Tequila Reef yesterday.  This is a great little shin-dig to attend if you’re in town when they host them each month.  A good number of message board guys showed up, including several of AC’s old regulars.  Yes, it was a virtual “who’s who” of some very nefarious characters.  That’s right, I saw you Jing….Strummer…..BigChill.  Dare I even mention the “Prince-Among-Men TROLL, FLAMER, FAGGOT” himself seated at 0:24 in? LOL.

Justjump and I went out last night and as usual a really fun night….before I hooked up with him I went to Illusions and Emotions.  Illusions was just that…it was an Illusion as there were only a couple of girls and they had drinks so absolutely nobody dancing.  Emotions on the other hand was jumping with some super cuties dancing around.  Happened to be there at happy hour and drinks were 50 pesos and lady drinks 100 pesos.   I was just about to buy a lady drink and dammmm somebody grabbed her.  Will be back for her.

I met Justjump at Tropix and really a few super models walking around.  I talked to one and just for fun I did the interview process and it turned out she was pretty picky but she liked me. Spongebob stickers for her…hahahahaha.  She did not want her picture taken which was too bad because she was beautiful.  There is a new cherry girl there and I swear she could be on a cover of Maxim.  Super stunning.

Next bar was Crystal Palace and to me…only one girl I liked….

Very quiet in there for sure.

The next bar was Geckos as Justjump was meeting a girl there.  A pretty good line-up but major major lady drink pressure.  And on top of that…the waitresses automatically bring SML’s without even asking.  Total bullshit for sure.  Also…after Justjump had bought a few drinks for girls more magically showed up.  I am like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…what the hell.  A lady drink to me is a drink I buy for a girl that I am interested in.  Why would I buy six double drinks for waitresses I don’t even know or like.

And then…the dancers kept looking at us and pointing at the SML bottles…and then in a frenzy would start yelling and clapping like we agreed to buy them a double lady drink….again I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO….what the hell.  I do not like that bullshit of trying to force drinks on me at all.  I talked to the waitress and she told me that it is policy now to always keep asking about lady drinks.   I feel sorry for the new guy or drunk guy who goes in there and gets scammed and I must say rather quickly.  So you new guys be aware of that situation if you decide to go in there.  I did meet a sexy girl but we had to get the fuck out of there.

Next bar was Forbidden City….this was the first time I had a good time in this bar…usually it was dead or just did not get a good vibe but last night was fun…maybe because Justjumps girl knew one of the hotties that I got to fondle constantly and she was alot of fun…took pictures here…

A fun night at Forbidden City.  We then ate at Shwarma and as always perfect drunk food.  I stopped at Mini Stop on my way home and low and behold guess who is out front harassing people. Our favorite guy begging for money.   Well he must not be too smart as he never remembers me and our previous encounters.  First he says to me…100 pesos please with his well rounded I lost my passport scam…than it was the jail scam and then he needed milk for his baby.  I ask him how much for milk and he say 857 pesos.   I laugh at him and say you can get milk as cheap as 150 pesos.  He says I am lying and pretty funny…we both walk to JJ’s and sure enough…there it was…he probably didn’t think I would go through with it.   And the fucked up thing…on the way to JJ’s he stops to get a cigarette.  He didn’t pay for it as he has credit with that vendor…how fucking fucked is that…I really don’t feel sorry for him anymore…just a disgrace.

I knew they wouldn’t be gone long and I’m glad to see that, like an old friend, they’ve returned.  I try to avoid covering all of the tiresome and repetitive “AC Bar Politics” that occur, because quite frankly, they’re tiresome and repetitive.  If you’ve been familiar with AC for any length of time, you know these little dramas with the bars and the local government/law enforcement just go on and on and on.  It’s really nothing newsworthy in my opinion.  In fact, I only think it would be newsworthy if all that bullshit DIDN’T occur regularly.

So what, such & such bar got “raided” and closed or there’s a new edict banning t-backs and body paint shows.   No shit, it happens several times a year.  And then whoopdie-doo, they re-open a few weeks or months later.  Sometimes under the same name, sometimes not.  The things that were “outlawed” gradually re-appear.  Worry not, Joe Monger, such is the “circle-of-life” in Angeles City.

Ok, I’m breaking my own testament by talking about it too much, let’s get back to what’s really important:

It’s a new month now so that means new photo albums here at the Funpage.  We’re lucky and thankful to have a great set of personal AC photos from “Night Owl” of Go2phil.   In his first volume here, he shares with us some of his very “fond memories” as he put it.   Once you browse through his pics, you’ll agree they are quite fond indeed.

As you’ve probably noticed, August was a pretty busy time for us here.  We’ve been making a lot of little changes, additions and improvements here and there throughout the site, lest we mention the Subic Bay Funpage launch.  If there’s any thing or things you would like to see included on our sites, feel free to let us know as always.

Due to the overwhelming response from last month’s event, Tequila Reef Cantina is hosting another “Freaky Fiesta Friday” next week, September 10th from 6pm onwards.

For one low price of 450 pesos, you’ll get a hand-shaken margarita, and their All-U-Can-Eat Buffet, which features a wide assortment of great food to fill you up before starting your Friday night piss-up through the bars.

If that weren’t enough, you’ll have the opportunity to meet & greet members from the various AC message boards.  I’ve attended events like this before and it’s a great way to put a face with a name from the boards.

And what would a “Freaky Fiesta” be without some ladies?  Don’t worry about it being a “chorizo festival”, because the lovely Suave Music Lounge girls will be there too.

If you’re gearing up for a big Labor Day weekend in AC this week, consider putting these events on your party agenda.

Starting off in One-Eyed Wench on Saturday night at 6pm, a 5+ hour “Pub Crawl” that will see stops in Treasure Island and Lollipop as well.  Reduced drink prices and finger food will be available at all three venues throughout the crawl.

On Sunday, they’ll have a Balloon Party with prizes going on in T.I. all day, and drink specials in Lollipop from 6pm onward.

Monday’s offerings are 2-for-1 customer drinks from 6pm to 9pm in both bars.

Sounds like a “labor-intensive” amount of drinking to help celebrate the holiday.
