Yes, I know I have a Subic Funpage for stuff like this, but some things can over-lap. Most of us go to both places, don’t we?
Some friends of mine that are lucky enough to live on location in Subic have put together a fantastic new website about the place, SubicRocks.com. If you want completely exclusive and up-to-the-minute insider info, photos, hotel & bar reviews, this new site is worth the price of admission. What is that price you ask? A mere $10/month. You will have access to almost daily doses of Subic photos, stories and info, with a constant stream of new stuff flowing in. It’s the kind of stuff you won’t see or get anywhere else on the web really, so for that reason alone, if you are the slightest bit interested in Subic, this site is where it’s at. Here’s just a small sampling of what you’ll find on SubicRocks:

We’re very thankful and happy to have yet another new contributor to the Funpage’s photo album collection. “Mr. Bangkok” took the time to send over his fantastic set of AC & Subic pics for us all to enjoy. Thanks again man. You’ve got a good eye for the cute ones.
For 2011′s first Girl-of-the-Month edition, we have the cute, yet naughty looking, Amy, of AsianNights.com. Something about her tells me she wouldn’t be a dead sack in the rack like some youngins.

Ok, so the poll about this was probably a give-away. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. Thanks to all who contributed. Still not 100% finished, but close enough.

Here are some photos from the Dryden Group Pool Party up in Subic a few weekends ago (May 30th). Looks like it was a wet ‘n wild time as always.

May 28th, 2010
If you don’t want to make the trip to Subic this weekend for the Dryden Group pool party at Treasure Island, don’t worry—–you have an alternative in Angeles. Good ol’ Kokomoz is throwing a pool party on Sunday starting at 12 noon.
It’s p1,200 to get in, including all-u-can-eat buffet, local drinks, 2 ladies drinks and most importantly, girls from 8 different bars! Lemme tell ya, I’ve had some wild times at many of these Kokomoz pool parties; they usually aren’t over until you see questionable looking substances floating past you in the water, haha. No, they are not for the faint of heart. Man up, Nancy!
Pool Party? Did someone say Pool Party?

Yes, I said it. One of the most frequently asked questions I get via email and chat is “Hey Jimmy, when and where is the next big pool party?”
Well, here’s your answer:
On Sunday, May 30th, The Dryden Group is throwing a pool party at Treasure Island Resort in Subic. The party starts at 12 noon and will include more than 50 girls from Wet Spot, Angelwitch, Rum Jungle & Lips Bars. There will be food, drink, music, dancing, games, photo-taking and more.
Included in the cost of admission will be all-u-can-eat buffet, all-u-can-drink local drinks, and Happy Hour pricing in all Dryden Group Bars all night. Tickets are available to be purchased at any of the Dryden Group establishments.
Lips Complex Opening Party in Subic this Saturday

May 13th, 2010
The Dryden Group is happy to announce their Opening Party of the Lips Complex this Saturday, May 15th. They newly acquired addition to the Dryden Group, the “Lips Complex” holds three bars in one. I was there a few months ago and it’s a great location with a lot of girls. If you haven’t been the Subic lately, it is definitely worth the trip. It’s a nice change of pace from AC and it is now easier than ever to get to on the new straight-away road they completed from Clark. If I was in country this week, I know I’d consider the Saturday run up to Barrio Baretto to check out this event.
March 2010 Photos Albums are up!

March 1st, 2010
Ahh, I always love the 1st of the month. A new month means new photo albums here on the Funpage. First, we have another batch of barhop photos from long-time AC photographer extraordinaire, Don Wong. In it, you will find ample doses of LBFM tits & ass for your reminiscing pleasure.
For the Girl-of-the-Month, we present a rather popular AC girl named Elsa from AsianHookers.com. She has been around for a few years now, going from Blue Nile Club in AC, to Wet Spot Bar in Subic and back again. Aside from her lovely, rich brown skin, she sports one of the nicest sets of natural breasts around. No, they’re not gargantuan in size, they are simply just “nice” in shape and proportion. The kind you just wanna grab onto and squeeze. (I have felt them personally, so I think I’m qualified to say that)
The Angeles City Experience (video)
by jreg81 on Feb.28, 2010, under Front Page
February 28th, 2010
Here’s a neat little video from a German guy highlighting his stay in Angeles. He’ll start off with brunch at the Lewis Grand’s relaxing pool area, show you some playful roadside monkeys on the way to Subic, then catches a good Philippines afternoon downpour, followed by a walk through SM Mall, complete with food vendor girl singing along to music.
What’s this? An AC video without any bars or barhopping in it? Yes, it’s true. But if you’ve been to Angeles City, then you’ve spent time doing these exact same sorts of things. Aside from the bars, these moments are the “essence” of the whole AC-going experience in my opinion.
I did get a good chuckle of how while interviewing his Honey-ko at brunch about her experiences in Angeles, she says: “The worst experience on me was…guy don’t gave me a teep (tip), without even fuds (food).”
LOL, that is pretty bad. See how you are!? Shame on you, you cheap bastard wherever you may be! But I’ll be damned if that line alone didn’t make me “homesick” for AC right then while watching it, haha. It’s those little things that take you back.
Valentine’s Day Pool Party + Bar Hop in Subic
by jreg81 on Feb.10, 2010, under Front Page
February 10th, 2010
If you want to get out of AC for Valentine’s Day, then making the drive up to Subic is a great alternative. Treasure Island Resort is hosting a GIANT POOL PARTY on Sunday, February 14th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is 850 pesos, all-u-can-eat, all-u-can-drink, 40+ girls in the pool, games & dance contests all afternoon. Sounds like a good place to find a “date” for Valentine’s evening if you don’t already have one by then.
Then later after you’ve dried off, how about a big Barrio Barretto barhop starting at 7:00 p.m. in Rum Jungle? For a 1,250 peso ticket, you’ll get FREE food, 1 customer drink plus 1 ladies drink in each bar along the way. The stops will include Rum Jungle, Voodoo, Escape, Hot Lips, Wet Spot, Angelwitch and then ending up back at Rum Jungle.

There are some songs that when you hear them you are instantly transported back to AC. Even some that you never hear anywhere else but AC. For me, music is a big part of the overall atmosphere and the experiences that I have in life. There are certain songs that will always remind me of a certain time, certain place, certain friends, certain girl or whatever. I used to have an AC Music Player on this site for many years, but alas, it was lost in one of the many crashes. Most of the music was quite outdated anyway—–even by AC standards. The so-called “Korean Invasion” of AC also includes several former Korean chart-toppers being played ad nauseam in the all of the bars. The girls seem to love them. What is funny is that those songs are mostly outdated back in Korea. The one song that stood out in my mind the most this past trip was this one:
You gotta admit, it’s pretty damn catchy…
Massive Typhoon pounds Manila & other areas
by jreg81 on Sep.29, 2009, under Front Page
September 28th, 2009
In case you missed it, a bad storm named Typhoon Ketsana hit the Philippines hard on Saturday, leaving many urban areas in Manila severely flooded. Yahoo has the current human toll up to 240, but I fear many more may be lost and we won’t see the true numbers due to late or inaccurate reporting. I’ve spoken with several friends down there and they all say it’s a total disaster area. I am still waiting to hear back from others, hoping they are OK.
Many people simply abandoned their houses due to the high waters and have taken refuge in the homes of friends and family, or in emergency relief centers. Unfortunately, the Philippine government is ill-equipped to deal with catastrophic events like these, and have publicly admitted that their limited resources are already stretched thin. U.S. Troops fighting terrorists down south have came up to help, but much more is necessary. I was just in Manila myself about a week before this storm hit. It rained and T-stormed pretty violently while I was there, and there was minor flooding in some parts of the city, but nothing like this.  I’m sure glad I missed it.
Here’s a video clip posted on Youtube of some of the flooding. It makes you think about Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and how difficult that was for even the United States to deal with. The Philippines, being a much poorer country with less resources is going to need help. That being said, the friends I have spoken with up in AC and Subic say other than a bunch of rain, there hasn’t been any serious flooding to speak of.
